Drives & storage

SSD, HDD and NVMe serials are the first thing EAC uses to spot a banned build. After a run the drives read as someone else's.

Motherboard

SMBIOS, UUID and the board serial. This is the backbone of the fingerprint: skip it and the new account follows the old one into a ban.

Network & MAC

MAC addresses of every adapter, wired and Wi-Fi. Changed in one pass so the hardware won't drag the old profile's history along.

GPU & peripherals

GPU IDs, monitor EDID and USB devices. We close the small links Facepunch likes to tie sessions with.

VPN or another way

RUST also bans by address, so you need to log in from a new IP. A VPN, phone tethering or a new address from your ISP all work — the key is a subnet different from the banned one.

Clean Windows reinstall

A required step: a full reinstall clears EAC traces in the system. An upgrade on top won't do — only a clean install from a USB stick.

Trace cleaner

After the install the spoofer finishes off the rest: anti-cheat cache, temp files and registry leftovers. The system comes out with no memory of the old ban.
